Color temperature is a characteristic of visible light that has important applications in lighting, photography, videography, publishing, and other fields. The color temperature of a light source is determined by comparing its chromaticity with that of an ideal black-body radiator. The temperature (usually measured in kelvins (K)) at which the heated black-body radiator matches the color of the light source is that source's color temperature; for a black body source, it is directly related to Planck's law and Wien's displacement law.
Counterintuitively, higher color temperatures (5000 K or more) are "cool" (green-blue) colors, and lower color temperatures (2700-3000 K) "warm" (yellow-red) colors.

I know that I speak for every one of us gals on this trip when I say that. I am AMAZED that we were all together in the same place but took pictures of completely different things,, in our own styles. Through their images I am able to see what I saw, but through their eyes. I can't wait till our next adventure to be awed and truly inspired by these amazing women!!

anywho, everyone had left for their flight, their wedding, their family and the few remaining were josh, whitney and kristy behrs. we had two cars so the gents road with the gents and the ladies road with the ladies. it was a 40 minute car ride. the stories, ah man the stories that kristy told me were incredible. i can tell you to go to her blog but i have a feeling i was a little privileged that day to hear the FULL stories. now i can't wait for more. there will always be a part of me that wants to be a nomad, an explorer, an adventurer like you, kristy. thanks for the inspiration.

I think one of the most important things in life, is the ability to share the love that we have, and the gifts we've been given. You are wonderful wonderful women who each have such a unique and fresh outlook on the world. The images and words on this blog and your websites are a testament to the excellence in each of you.
