the first best thing about this trip is the incredible women. it's been so refreshing to meet such talented, insightful, kind, wise women. wow. ok. now the second best thing for me was to finally get the chance to see THE marfa lights. after talking to locals, the verdict is that no one including scientists know how or why these things exist. so late the other night we all packed in the cars and drove out to the desert to see them. and there they were. i would tell you more about them but i think sarah rhoads has the best description. ask her.
